Tale of Two Candidates

Ma Barker

The theater of the absurd has opened it’s doors to the world with the upcoming coronation of the Democrat Party candidate Hilary Clinton.  Her not too surprising escape from justice once again delighted her followers, frustrated her detractors and baffled everyone in between because in his statement to the Nation, the FBI Director James Comey presented all they had found in their very complete investigation of her flagrant “above the law” use of her private email server while Secretary of State.  He made it very clear what she had done and the damage she created to our Nation’s security and he pulled no punches in his words or tone.  Then he abruptly let her off the hook while letting everyone know that they would be held accountable should they commit the same act;  “To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions”.  Huh?  A more blatant reminder that there are two or more sets of law in America is rarely so plainly expressed by a government official.

The original Ma Barker was the mother of four sons who were criminals during the bad old days of the 1920’s and 30’s.  The FBI Director at the time (J. Edgar Hoover) described her as “the most vicious, dangerous and resourceful criminal brain of the last decade”.  But she was never arrested or even charged with any crime.  Like Mrs. Clinton she had those who saw her for what she was and those who admired her for being what she was but they all feared what she could do to them.  Ma Barkers reign of criminal activity came to an end in Florida at the hands of the FBI in a shootout.    In a sense Director Comey may have “done in” the modern Ma Barker by laying out the case so publically but instead of dealing her the  coup de grâce  he is hoping the voting public will do it at the ballot box.  If this is so he has far more confidence in the political system than I do.  Notice that I use the term system rather than voters.  Our political system is in a constant state of flux and always has been throughout our history and corruption of various levels has always been present but never has corruption been so imbedded and celebrated.  Both political parties are corrupted to be sure but it is the Democrats that revel in the dark side.  Ideology and corruption was made into an art form by none other than FDR (the founder of the modern democrat party).  However, where FDR was a Rembrandt; Hillary is a Marvel Comic.  That is in the political sense because in her stature as a mob boss she is to be taken very seriously.  Ask the women who dared to come forward about her husband Bill who grew into an average President but was a first rate sexual predator.   There is enough evidence out there that would bury anybody else but somehow she not only survives but is looked up to and admired by many; granted the majority of them are ageing female hippies and the not so independent media which refuses to fulfill their purpose.

Of course she still has the majority of Democrat voters who are not known for their independent thought.  There is a reason for that lack of independent thought; while some of it is due to being educated at the hands of the government the actual reason is that since FDR the democrat party has steadily built itself on the backs of many different interest groups.  America is not one homogenized people in their eyes but rather a mob that is made up of different peoples to be kept separated and exploited with handouts and special favors.  With the threat of losing funding or special privileges it does not take much for one group to turn on one another; black/white; rich/poor; citizen/illegal immigrant.  Politically this has worked well for the democrats but logically it has to end.  And endings usually do not end nicely in these cases with many people being hurt and the seeds of future mayhem planted to be taken advantaged of by the manipulators of which the modern Ma Barker is a master.  In an interesting juxtaposition though; the original Ma Barker found her end in the State of Florida at the hands of the FBI and  because of electoral college numbers the fate of the modern Ma Barker may end there because of a condemnation of the FBI.  Let us hope that his aim is as good as the agents who did in the original.

The Donald

The Donald

The Donald

The opposing candidate to Ma Barker would not be my choice for President.  Not because of the standard reason given by his detractors and the main stream media.  Since announcing his desire to become President he has been denounced as a racist, fear monger, 1%’er, woman hater, Republican.  Aside from being what almost everyone I know wishes to be, a 1%, all the rest is hyperbole from the left.  He unnerves the left (ie. democrat party) because he strikes a chord with the majority of Americans across all the lines of the little boxes the democrats like to place us in and he gives back as well as he takes from them.  He has what the Republican party leadership lacks – measureable testosterone levels.  He seems unafraid to speak his mind and will not cower out of fear of what the press has to say about him.  The Republican Party leadership and I use the term “leadership” loosely has delivered milk toast candidates for President the last 2 cycles and even though they were given a mandate through the Congressional elections to offset the over reaching Obama; instead chose to play along and cowered to the coward in the White House.

Is Donald Trump a racist?  I will not assume to know what lies in his heart but the term “racist'” is bandied about and thrown at anyone the left does not like and wants to shut up.  It has up to now be an effective weapon against the standard Republican politician.  I have come to the conclusion that everyone is a racist to one degree or another.  The left and their cohorts in Academia argue that it is impossible for blacks and other minorities to be racists which is just bunk.  We all have racist tendencies and it is not a bad thing.  What has been done is the academia left bastardized our language.  To be a racist doe not mean being a “supremacist”.  Though not mutually exclusive terms; one can be a racist without being a supremacist but if you are a supremacist you are also a racist.  The left has painted him “racist” because he wants a wall to be completed along our southern border.  In their eyes anything to restrict immigration of a cheap labor force illegally, the flow of drugs, the flow of OTM’s which include a large number of Muslim jihadist and other criminal elements is wrong.  The majority of the American people instinctively know that our borders must be made secure and a wall does work.  Trump has hired thousands of blacks and other minorities (many who were illegal) so you would have to question whether a “racist” would have hired them with such a large number of whites available?  He has been on balance a successful businessman who hired the best talent for the price he was willing to expend to meet his needs and what is wrong with that?  Unless you are a democrat – nothing.  The true racist are those who desire to allow the steady influx of cheap labor who take jobs from blacks and whites who are near the bottom rung of the economic ladder.  Who are they?  Democrat Party leaders who have the DNA of racial supremacy running through their blood and see illegal aliens as a new larger voting block.  Corporations who rely on the influx to keep wages low.  Union leaders who see the possibility of an increased membership.  The radical left who control Academia and the aforementioned Democrat Party who hate all that America stands for and desire it’s fall.  They are the true racists.

Is Donald Trump a woman hater?  Can we agree to just laugh at that absurdity?

Is Donald Trump a fear-monger?  If that means that he points out the obvious and states what will occur if we continue down this path I guess that he is, but again, is that a bad thing?  He is convicted and shares that conviction that we are on the wrong path. He states it plainly and in the language of the common people.  We do have much to fear in the future and because he points it out does not make him bad; just out of step with the political culture that has led us to this point.

Is Donald Trump a Republican?  No. He is a democrat.  To better define it he is a Kennedy democrat ( a John Kennedy democrat not his half witted brother Ted ).  A democrat who has been purged from the party over the years since the take over by the far left in 1968.  Reagan was the first Republican to identify and bring in the disaffected base of the democrat party.  Trump is in that group.

What is Donald Trump?  He is a threat.  He is an outsider.  He is rich enough to be independent and tough enough to get down and dirty.  He is the closest thing to an average American that has had this opportunity since Andrew  Jackson.  He has baggage to be sure but does not seem to care and when hit – he hits back.  He is not part of the Washington cabal that now directs our lives to a sickening degree.  Both parties fear and loathe him for all that; which is why I will vote for him.  I never thought I would say or do that but here I am convinced that he will be the better President.  As a close friend of mine said “His ego is so big that he has to be the best, nothing less will satisfy him.”

At the start of the process I only considered Rand Paul or Ted Cruz worthy of my vote.  They are “outsiders” who stood up to their political party bosses and did what was right.  Their beliefs are closer to mine than Trumps when it comes to the individual, but they were not to be.  I then hoped that the Libertarian Party would nominate someone who would be a viable choice but they turned to two establishment politicians, one from Massachusetts which hasn’t produced a libertarian since John and Sam Adams!   So it is between the establishment Queen of Corruption and Donald Trump.  This election could be the most entertaining election in years but it will be a definite choice between the two Americas.

Let’s be honest, we are screwed with either hillary or Donald. Both/ all politicians are fear mongers, they usually have one thing that stirs up fears in their base. In Donald’s case he uses illegal immigration and the threat of terrorism to stir up his base and hillary will use the fear of Donald for her base. But they will both spend, spend, spend. The financial collapse will come and both of them will help bring it to fruition. When it happens both will prescribe the same remedy, more of the same that caused it. I will no longer vote for the lesser of two evils. I will no longer vote for evil. If people wish to bring about our demise, let them. I want no part of it. I will always vote my conscience and that means neither Donald or Hillary.
