Nearing The End
As you realize from earlier postings I was not a Trump supporter during the primary season. I liked Rand Paul or Ted Cruz but they fell victim to the Republican voter’s anger at the do nothings that they had elected to Congress. Republican “leaders” such as McConnell, Boehner and Ryan were given majorities to stem or stop the far left agenda of Obama and the Democrat party and they proved to be as useless as “tits on a bull”. So like him or not Trump went through the Republican nominees like Sherman through the South and the establishment party members howled much like the South did; only a little shriller. Many of them refused to campaign for him, many have denounced him and have thrown their support behind the last remaining establishment candidate even though she is supposedly the antithesis of everything they believe in but Trump has unmasked the frauds. Clinton and the establishment are fighting for their lives in a sense. Not that a President Trump would stop them; if anything it would only be a minor setback in their march toward corporate serfdom. But if rulers have learned anything throughout history it is to stamp out any contrarian thoughts as soon as possible and as ruthlessly needed. Is Donald Trump perfect? He would even laugh at that thought but I have come to believe that he could be the perfect candidate needed to stick our thumps in the eye of our federal government.
With about a week left before the election for those hundred or so people who are truly undecided about which candidate they want to vote for or the few open minded democrats who do not like Clinton here are some points to consider.
1) Trump is not an establishment politician, he is a businessman from Queens, NY. He talks like an everyday American and as much as the elite look down their noses and cluck their tongues at the bold unfiltered way we speak; Americans at their core appreciate that honesty. As the elitist democrat party attempts to bully the rest of us into thinking that Trump is unfit for the Presidency by pulling out clips of Trump speeches where he is being braggadocios or humorous they are avoiding addressing their failed policies and plans for continuing the same. These same people talk the same way among themselves as WikiLeaks have shown but the main stream media somehow never manages to cover it. Political Correctness is nothing but liberal bullying. And Trump is not politically correct. He say’s what is on his mind and does not have a different spin depending n the crowd he is speaking to unlike Clinton.
2)Trump as a racist and sexist. Nonsense. I start with a premise that I have become to believe in – ALL HUMANS ARE RACIST. ALL HUMANS ARE SEXIST. And all are entitled to believe what they want. What makes Trump a racist? He has been a major news maker since the 1970’s and never has the charge of racism been heard until he decided to run for President. His “racism” stems from the fact that he is in favor of a “wall” between Mexico and the United States. He wishes to enforce immigration laws and to deport those who break the law. Because he mentioned how many of the criminal element from Mexico enter our Country and commit murder, rape, robberies the establishment claims he sees all Mexicans that way – hence he is racist. The press which has proven itself to be the public relations arm of the democrat party has portrayed him as a hater of everything Mexican. That charge is almost as ludicrous as the charge of being sexist and being a woman hater. The charge of sexism stems from statements about Rosie O’Donnell. The fact that he called her a fat pig does not mean that he hates all women. As big as Rosie is she does not encompass all women. In fact pork producers have a bigger beef with him over that statement. He has made disparaging remarks about other individual women and that does not mean that they represent all women. The press does not tell the public of the thousands of women he has employed and given economic opportunities. It was Trump who hired the first woman builder to build a high rise in NYC. It was a business decision plain and simple. It wasn’t a public relations ploy to show the world how open minded he was in order gain votes. And the latest charges of him groping women does not pass the smell test. I find it very difficult to believe that all the women who have come forward have sat on this all these years without ever raising a peep. No lawsuits ever. Was he a philanderer – no question. Was he a Bill Clinton type predator? No. The women who accused Bill Clinton came forward almost immediately and were subjected to ruthless personal attacks from Hillary that come only from those with governmental power. For those who say Bill is not running for President you are again purposefully missing the point or are plainly stupid. Hillary’s action taken against the women who were raped by her husband warrants scrutiny and criticism especially as Hillary paints herself as a champion for women. The press ignores that along with other facts such as how Hillary has traditionally paid women on her staff much less than the men. WikiLeaks published the facts that the Clinton Foundation pays the top women on average $130,000 less than the top male employees. So much for wage discrimination.
3)The American electorate has been subjected to a massive psychological warfare tactic by the media at large. WikiLeaks again released documents that show the coordinated attacks on Trump and the fabrication of poll numbers. Polls are a tool used to manipulate; the most recent example is Britain’s vote to separate itself from the nightmare of the EU. Throughout that campaign polls showed the anti EU group losing by a large margin. They kept it up even after the votes were cast only to find out that they were way off and the Brits voted to get out. In 2004 the exit polling had John Kerry beating George Bush. Kerry’s staff started calling him Mr. President and then the numbers came in along with reality. In 1948 the polls had Dewey defeating Truman – oops! Internal polling can be useful but public polling is only a tool used to manipulate and should be ignored. The only good thing that can be said about polling groups (Gallup, NBC/CBS/ABC/Fox/NYT/WSJ) and guys like Frank Luntz is that it employ’s people that otherwise may be unemployable.
4)Trump is the most dangerous man ever to run for President. The same thing was said about Ronald Reagan and all he did was help break up the Soviet Union and get the U.S. economy off of the Carter life support. Will Trump be another Reagan? I have mixed feelings about RR. His policies did not match the hyperbole surrounding his Presidency. I view his greatest accomplishment as being the transformation of the American psyche from a depressed Eeyore (a character from Winnie The Pooh) that the Carter Presidency engulfed us in; to a can do/ will do people that can accomplish anything. Trump can accomplish that much and will when given the opportunity. As far as being dangerous there is nobody more dangerous than a candidate that refuses to respect the law and holds herself above it. Our government is comprised of three branches and each branch has specific tasks but a common task is to be a counterbalance to the other two branches. Our government was designed that way to ensure the liberty of the people. President Obama has not been held accountable for several Constitutional violations. Out of fear of being labeled racist or playing politics (making deals) the Republican led Congress has allowed the Executive branch to run amuck to the determent of the Nation as a whole. Will they react any different with Clinton? Hardly. This make her a far more dangerous person in the Oval office. A Trump Presidency will be the most watched Presidency in history and if he missteps Constitutionally both parties will be right on him. He is by far the safer of the two candidates for America.
5)The Vice Presidential candidates are another consideration. Which of the two men would be better suited to step in to the Presidency? Given the two Presidential choices it is very likely that will occur within the next four years. Clinton is a sickly woman. Just because the media does not do it’s job in reporting her health problems does not mean that they do not exist. When her health incapacitates her as it will under the pressures of the Office will you want a President Tim Kaine? He is probably the least qualified Vice Presidential candidate since Dan Qualye. In the head to head debate with his rival Mike Pence he came up as a snarky, insecure man who realizes that he does not belong there but believes otherwise. Mike Pence on the other hand has the most Presidential bearing between the four of them! As a governor he has proven executive qualities that Kaine lacks. When and if Trump falters or is removed from office I would prefer Pence over Kaine. Perhaps no time in our short history does the candidates for Vice President hold such importance.
6)The ever staggering cost of Obamacare. The bill that did not have to be read or scrutinized has proven to be a complete failure except in the further destruction of the working middle class. This alone should defeat Clinton as she was a major supporter who didn’t read the bill and still supports it (though under pressure she admitted it had to be tweaked). Trump rightly states that it should be scrapped in it’s entirety and replaced with a common sense free market plan that will drive down costs. It isn’t and never was a “healthcare” plan as advertised. It is a tax revenue plan that was aimed directly at the middle class. “Healthcare” replaced “health Insurance” and the media never differentiated the meanings of the two words and all of a sudden people without health insurance were believed to be dying from lack of care. The Federal government and the Insurance companies were the only ones who profited from that fraudulent legislation that was an all democrat party affair. Is it any wonder that it is such a mess?
7) The new FBI interest in the Clinton emails and WikiLeaks. I do not put any faith in the FBI as it has been shown that Director Comey is a Clinton operative whose family members have profited from either the DNC or most likely the Clinton Foundation. WikiLeaks on the other hand has consistently proven to be non-partisan. People forget that they started releasing hacked emails from the Bush administration much to the delight of the Democrats (who are not known for being farsighted). The Clinton campaign and their media whores place the blame on Russia. Leave it to the democrats to try and dig up cold war patriotism – anything for a vote! The list of corrupt acts grows longer each time that WikiLeaks releases leaked emails and if it were anybody other than Clinton they would have been forced to resign in shame. But shame is not something that Clinton or most of our elected “leaders” have; in fact shame has been pretty much been bullied out of our society by the PC crowd. It does show the power of the media to place pressure or in this case not to on candidates. It also shows the corruption of the media.
I do not know what will happen on November 8. I would like to believe that Trump will beat back the corrupted one but I am not sure that will happen. Our society as a whole has been corrupted to such a degree; a candidate like Clinton would make it this far. I console myself with the knowledge that Republics based in liberty for their citizens do not last and they fall due to internal corruption. The corruption begins in the government and filters down to the people. When the people accept corruption as a the way of doing business then a fall is not far behind. When the people become jaded to the point that they shrug when corruption raises it’s ugly head a fall is upon the nation. When I think that this Nation just might return a family to the White House that after their first tour there had to be forced to return the silverware and other items that they had appropriated (stole) for themselves when they left. Hillary as Secretary of State was selling her position for donations to the Clinton Foundation (ask King Mohammed VI of Morocco of his $12 million donation). As I stated earlier there is no shame in her or those who vote for her. As much as I console myself I have 3 grandchildren who will not have the opportunity to grow in a free America. They will bear the brunt of the sins of our choices and that angers me.
